Mark Verheijen

Mark Verheijen is a Dutch politician of the VVD (The Dutch People’s Party of Freedom and Democracy). Currently he is (acting) Mayor of the municipality of Wijdemeren. He studied history and philosophy at Radboud University Nijmegen. Previously he was vice-chair and chair of the VVD-party and member of the Dutch parlement where he was part of standing committee of European and Foreign Affairs. Before that he was an alderman and vice-mayor in the City of Venlo and regional minister in the Province of Limburg.
For VVD International, Mark has predominantly given trainings in debate.
