Jet Bruning

Jet Bruning is 24 years old and was born and raised in Groningen. She recently completed her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Organizations at the University of Groningen and is currently in the final stage of her Master’s degree in East Asian Studies at the same university
One of the highlights of her studies was spending six months living and studying in Beijing. It was an incredible experience that allowed her to immerse herself in a completely different culture, meet people from all over the world, and further deepen her interest in East Asia.
When she’s not studying, Jet likes to keep herself busy and, preferably, outdoors. During the summer, she spends as much time as possible on the water, whether sailing, windsurfing, or simply enjoying a day out on a boat with friends. Once winter arrives, she’s happy to trade the water for the mountains and spend her time on skis instead. And when she’s looking for a quieter day, she enjoys cooking, trying out new recipes, or getting lost in a good book.
Jet is really excited to start her internship, get to know everyone, and see what the coming months have in store!
