Anouk van Eekelen

Anouk van Eekelen is a longstanding volunteer within the VVD and has been actively involved in training and developing liberal talent for many years. More than 25 years ago, she was already responsible for training at the JOVD, the Dutch liberal youth organization.

She previously held various positions of responsibility within the VVD, serving in both legislative and executive roles at municipal and regional level. As a volunteer within the VVD, she is a member of the national committee of the Haya van Someren Foundation, the VVD’s training and development foundation.

Professionally, Anouk is member of the executive board at VVV Nederland, the Dutch association of tourist information and destination marketing organisations.

Anouk studied Public Administration at Leiden University. She lives with her family in the historic centre of Leiden. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and hiking, although not simultaneously.
