Al Hurriya Liberal Network General Assembly

The Al Hurriya Liberal Network (AHLN) General Assembly will take place from 26 to 29 November 2026 in Rabat, Morocco, bringing together representatives of liberal political parties, civil society organisations and partner organisations from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

As the network’s annual gathering, the General Assembly provides a platform for members to review ongoing activities, discuss regional developments and strengthen cooperation between liberal actors throughout the region. Participants will exchange experiences, share best practices and explore opportunities for future collaboration on issues related to democratic governance, political participation, individual freedoms and human rights.

The Assembly also serves as AHLN’s key decision-making forum, where members discuss organisational priorities, evaluate current projects and shape the strategic direction of the network for the coming year. Through dialogue and cooperation, participants contribute to strengthening liberal partnerships and promoting democratic values across the MENA region.

Alongside the formal sessions, the programme offers opportunities for networking and engagement between political leaders, activists and civil society representatives, reinforcing the connections that underpin the Al Hurriya Liberal Network and its mission to support liberal cooperation throughout the region.
