Liberal Leadership Academy: Module III

03 – 06 December 2026 | Belfast, Northern Ireland

The third and final module of the Liberal Leadership Academy: Europe (LLA) will take place in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from 3 to 6 December 2026, bringing together participants from across Europe for the final module of the Academy’s programme.

As the concluding module of the Academy, participants will bring together the insights, skills and experiences gained throughout the programme, and as a cherry on top of the cake, they will have a study trip. They will revisit their personal leadership stories with coaches, reflecting on the questions “Why me?” and “Why now?”, and consider their future role within their liberal movement. Also, they will follow a course on lobbying and negotiation, which they will use in the political crisis simulation.

In the crisis simulation, participants will form political parties, run an election campaign and enter coalition negotiations. Through this practical exercise, they will put the skills developed throughout the Academy to the test while strengthening the international network built with fellow young liberals. At the end of the Academy, their will be a graduation ceremony.
