Are you an international or expat living in Leiden? Then you can VOTE!
If you’re a registered resident of Leiden, you can vote in the upcoming city council elections! Even without a Dutch passport. We’re the local chapter of the VVD and we want to plot a different course for our city. Why?
To make Leiden a place where residents have the FREEDOM to make their own choices.
A place where LOWER TAXES give residents the space to thrive & spend money on what they think is important.
A place where SAFETY, especially for women at night and cycling children, has become the rule, rather than exception.
We want to achieve these goals through the following measures:
- Building more houses & apartments for sale.
- Reducing traffic accidents & parking lot removal.
- Reducing taxes & unnecessary administration.
- Investing in more police & more cameras.
