Deze tunnel is onderdeel van de N434, een nieuwe verbinding ten zuiden van Leiden tussen de A44 en A4.<br \/><br \/><\/b>Voor Katwijk, Rijnsburg en Valkenburg is het heel fijn dat deze weg straks open gaat. Richting het oosten\/zuiden kan dan de route dwars door Leiden (N206) worden vermeden.<br \/><br \/>Onze fractievoorzitter Lennart van der Plas nam, samen met VVD-collega&#8217;s uit de regio, alvast een kijkje in de nog lege tunnel.
