Hij sprak daar met een aantal VVD&#8217;ers over de parkeerproblematiek op en rond het Hoftuinplein.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Al langere tijd wordt gesproken over een vernieuwing van het parkeerterrein, waarvan de huidige indeling te wensen overlaat. Zo verdwijnen bij herinrichtingen soms parkeerplaatsen en bij nieuwbouw komt er niet altijd voldoende extra parkeercapaciteit. Als grootste gemeente zonder railverbinding blijft de auto voor veel inwoners een belangrijk vervoersmiddel.
