Hij werkt bij Groningen Seaports in de haven, waar hij sinds drie jaar IT-manager is en daarvoor jarenlang accountmanager voor het MKB was. Sinds 2018 zit Eduard in de gemeenteraad, eerst in Delfzijl en afgelopen periode na de herindeling in Eemsdelta. Maatschappelijk heeft hij als vrijwilliger verschillende (bestuurs)functies bekleed. Tot 2019 actief als voorzitter van voetbalvereniging NEC. Bij de laatste editie van DelfSail was hij voorzitter van de marketing- &amp; communicatiecommissie.
