She then moved to Brussels to work as a policy officer, specialising in topics including energy and cybersecurity, for the VVD team in the European Parliament.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">In 2022, Alisha became a political advisor to State Secretary for Defense Christophe van der Maat. She then continued working for the Ministry of Defence as head of department in the Directorate for Operations and Evaluation.
