Wageningen is a vibrant place full of energy \u2014 home to entrepreneurs, student clubs and associations, families, young people, and seniors. Many residents are actively involved in their neighbourhoods, sports clubs, or local businesses every day. According to the VVD, this lively community deserves a local government that makes practical decisions benefiting everyone, rather than imposing strict limits, rules and relegations.<\/p>\n

In recent years, local policies have set some clear directions, but the VVD argues it’s now time for greater balance in the city. We want policies that give people and businesses more freedom and room to operate, based on common sense and trust in residents and entrepreneurs, instead of heavy-handed rules or ideological priorities.<\/p>\n
