Wesley vd Hadelkamp en Joep Lekkerkerker hebben samen het bedrijf opgericht en zijn na een aantal jaren ondernemen langs de provinciale weg in Haastrecht uit hun spreekwoordelijke jas gegroeid. De zoektocht naar ruimte heeft ze uiteindelijk bij Schimmel Oudewater gebracht waarna de twee bedrijven samen verder gaan onder de naam Halek Oudewater.
